     At least one-half of all employees will have to take time to deal with legal problems sometime during the year. Leave may end up being taken as "sick leave" or "personal time" to cover these situations, which may include traffic violations, marital problems, credit problems, other civil actions, etc. Nearly 80 percent of the population does not have access (financially) to the type of legal help needed when it is needed.
